Family Film Tree – Innovate UK funding

Family Film Tree is an exciting project for Ammba. We have teamed up with partners Yorkshire Film Archive and technical developers 383 to develop an API which will put archive film content in the hands of online genealogy users, researching their family trees. We are thrilled to have been successful with a grant from Innovate UK, to help support the research and development of this proof of concept. The social historical context of film archive is stunning, bringing to life family history research and let’s users see first hand how their ancestors used to live work and play.
