Back on the road for filming at SG Fleet

filming for sg fleet

In the summer we had the pleasure of working with our good friends Entec Si to produce video content on the different facets of their business. Entec Si is a project and programme management consultancy based in Birmingham and have been working with SG Fleet on their mergers and acquisitions projects.

We captured content at SG Fleet’s sites for use on Entec Si’s website and social media channels. This is part of an ongoing series of shoots we are leading for Entec Si and is our fifth video project for them.

Getting into gear

As well as liaising with Entec Si, we collaborated with film production company Vyka Studios. This involved establishing the themes and content of the clips, making sure that they met Entec Si’s business needs and complement the messaging that we have established for their website and socials.

Carpooling

SG Fleet is a vehicle fleet hire firm with headquarters based in Australia. Entec Si had supported the UK branch as they underwent further mergers and acquisitions to grow the business in the UK. This resulted in the need to transition their different IT systems into one system and the introduction of a cloud based collaborative telephony system.

Planes, trains, and automobiles

The filming took place in the peak of summer, so we were competing with the extreme heat. However, this didn’t curb our enthusiasm and we continued valiantly across two high energy shoots. Interviewing employees from Entec Si, SG Fleet, and DataComm was good fun and all participants really got into the spirit.

Filming was spread across two sites and our first port of call was the quaint Hampton-in-Arden. Down the road from the train station, the SG Fleet offices are made up of new and old buildings and set beside a busy train line. This gave us some really interesting shots for filming, but the trains thundering to Euston and the planes overhead were scene stealers!

Our second location was in Stoke on Trent and this provided us with different scenery. We also got to see their fantastic new offices. As well as filming the interviews, we were able to capture some scenario pieces and contextual shots of their building.

In the digital driving seat

We had a great time collaborating on this project and it was a joy to work with all the teams. It’s always a pleasure to work with Entec Si and their enthusiasm and dedication is second to none.

The clips are currently under review and we are super excited for the results to be shared on Entec Si’s website and social media very soon.
