Common Room of the Great North goes live!
We’ve been working with the wonderful Common Room of the Great North and are so thrilled to announce that the first phase of this project is now live! The new website enables the Common Room to promote its services in the lead to the opening of the renovated building.
The North remembers
The Common Room are in the process of refurbishing and revitalising Neville Hall, their Grade II* listed home. This beautiful building is based in the heart of Newcastle. Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, their aspiration is to make this unique venue a centre for engineering, education and heritage across the North East.
A digital building
When we read about the digital ambitions of the Common Room, we couldn’t wait to tender. As well as an internationally recognised archive, their growing programme of outreach activities and commercial aspirations really piqued our interest. We are super excited to see these aspects come to life on the new site.
We’re live!
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with the Common Room and can’t wait to continue into the second phase of this project. In Phase Two, our focus will be to enable audiences to explore the Common Room’s historic archive. This will be done using Nymbol, a bespoke CMS that we built specifically for the cultural and heritage sectors. This second phase is due to be launched during 2020.
We’re thrilled to see the first phase of this exciting project go live and to continue working with the ambitious and fantastic Common Room.
