COBBA is calling

We get to meet and work with some fantastic people so it’s only right that we celebrate the milestones together. Our good friends at Entec Si have been nominated for Social Media Marketer of the Year 2019 at the City of Birmingham Business Awards! The awards take place at Edgbaston Cricket Club on Thursday 17th October.

Behind the scenes

In 2017, we managed the development of Entec Si’s new website and started helping them to build a social media presence to match. It was a huge moment for their growing business and a project we were thrilled to be a part of!

From there, Entec Si’s online presence has gone from strength to strength. We’ve continued to work with them, helping Entec Si to maintain and grow their social media and develop their website. This has included writing content, editorial support and developing a social media strategy.

Their website and social media now benefit from a joined up approach which enables a regular flow of articles to be pushed out to socials. Entec Si’s social media strikes a confident balance of informative news, thought pieces, personal interest stories and industry articles.

However, the proof is in the numbers. Not only are the socials attracting attention, they’re maintaining it; with followers on LinkedIn increasing from 200 in June 2018 to 801 in October 2019. Meanwhile, followers on Twitter have increased from 130 in June 2018 to 251 in October 2019.

The glitz and glam

The City of Birmingham Business Awards are run by Downtown in Business. They celebrate businesses across the West Midlands and their achievements with an evening of glitz, glamour, and networking. Downtown in Business have hubs across the country, hosting interesting networking events with a variety of speakers and venues.

The build up

It’s wonderful to have led Entec Si on this journey and couldn’t be more excited that Entec Si are up for this award. We love working with them and can’t wait for the awards night. Good luck Entec Si!
