The new face of the Greater Birmingham Transatlantic Chamber of Commerce
Our very own Robbie Beak is one of the new faces to be appointed to the executive committee of the Greater Birmingham Transatlantic Chamber of Commerce (GBTCC).
Home and away
The British-American Business Council (BABC) is the largest transatlantic business network. They’re based in major business centres throughout North America and the United Kingdom. As well as this, it has 22 chapters and over 2,000 member companies.
The Midlands chapter is called the Greater Birmingham Transatlantic Chamber of Commerce and one of its newest members of the GBTCC is Robbie Beak!
Sharing is caring
Robbie is one of six new members to be appointed to the executive committee and it’s a really exciting prospect. Ammba has worked with the Ontario Government in Canada for the last five years. As a result, Robbie has built up a wealth of knowledge of the market and culture. In addition to this, he also recently led a delegation from Birmingham City University to Canada.
Robbie will be helping the GBTCC to build its network and get involved in networking and other events. Also, he will share his knowledge of international business.
New horizons
Robbie’s appointment is very exciting for us and we can’t wait to see where this new adventure takes him. We’re sure that Robbie’s experience and personable nature will be invaluable to the GBTCC!
